A north east based engineering company, our client is a supplier to worldwide offshore energy markets.
We were approached by our client as they required a complete overhaul of their hydraulic valves and related equipment, this included inspection and test of all parts.
This was to ensure the hydraulic systems were working to full efficiency with no risks of interruption to workflow or production.
We regularly advise our clients on a proactive rather than reactive approach, this was a perfect example of this.
Our team of technicians started the project by stripping the equipment down, ensuring all items were identified during the process. All of the items were tagged and bagged while the inspection process was being completed.
Upon successful inspection & testing, the equipment was rebuilt with new cartridge valves and OEM seal kits. The project included all related pipe spools being renewed using 316L stainless steel ASTM A269 seamless tube.
An on-site pipe bending workshop complete with technicians was installed to ensure all work was completed within the time frame of 10-12 working days.
Our work during the project ensured that the hydraulic valves and equipment were in perfect working order with no risk to downtime. This ensured our client would experience no interruption to their production.
