We were approached by an existing engineering client based in the north east of England to investigate the possibility of supplying pre-made stainless steel tube assemblies.
Our client had been using flexible hose assemblies within their engineering works, however due to the application, the assemblies were starting to fail on a regular basis.
This was leading to production being halted which in turn was affecting downtime costs and project lead times.
Our client approached us to identify a solution to the problem.
Following an initial project meeting and to ensure uninterrupted production for our client, we identified a temporary solution within 24 hours so no downtime was incurred.
A site survey was then carried out, followed by the production of detailed drawings which were quickly approved by our client.
We identified a long term solution of offering pre-made 316 stainless steel pipe spools which were manufactured and
delivered to our client within 14 days of the initial enquiry.
Following our rapid intervention and solution to the ongoing hose failure, our client was successfully able to
resume production in the knowledge the hose assemblies would not fail and no downtime would be incurred.
