HOS React to Emergency Requirements During Covid-19

With many businesses temporarily closing their doors during the Covid-19 pandemic, HOS quickly adapted the business to ensure staff could continue to work either remotely or within safe working practices to enable us to continue our supply and emergency call-out service to our clients.

Supplying hydraulic hose, fittings, instrumentation and pipeline materials to businesses across the UK and worldwide we were determined the service, quality and dedication our clients have come to expect from ourselves would continue.

During the last 4-5 months we have seen an increase in clients looking for emergency assistance and we were delighted we could help on each occasion, a selection of recent successful projects were:

• A successful delivery of a Yuken valve which was delivered within 4 hours of receipt of initial enquiry.

• We received an out of hours call from a project manager looking to source Parker fittings for delivery to a vessel which was waiting to leave port – we were delighted to fulfil the order and have the parts delivered to site within hours of the initial call.

• An emergency enquiry for hydraulic hose was received by a current client, also during the lockdown situation, we were delighted to be able to supply the 4SH hose which was assembled, measured, tagged pressure tested, flushed and installed, this also came with full certification all within a 7 day window.
