As part of our ongoing commitment to further growth, we are delighted to have joined membership of the Advanced Manufacturing Forum.

The AMF is a membership network which connects manufacturers and engineers, providing support to drive sustainable growth, innovation, best practice and collaboration with their members.

As a manufacturer of hose assemblies and supplier of fluid power solutions to businesses across both the UK and internationally, we’re looking forward to getting to know fellow members of the group and taking a proactive approach to the group.

Our first event with the AMF will be at the ‘Making ‘Owt’ exhibition at the beautiful Jarrow Hall in South Tyneside on the 15th June. We will be exhibiting and chatting to fellow delegates and exhibitors and are looking forward to a busy and productive day.

HOS managing director, Don Fenwick, is looking forward to being part of such an influential north east group, commenting, ‘Joining the Advanced Manufacturing Forum displays our commitment to the region and to the engineering and manufacturing sector which we have supplied for over 30 years.

The AMF’s diverse and growing membership provides a fantastic platform for us to get involved in events in the north east, help fellow businesses and showcase our products and services.

We’re a proud supporter of the region and regularly take part in events taking place such as roadshows, exhibitions and are also looking forward to exhibiting at the Bring It On festival in October which is aimed at inspiring the next generation of budding engineers.

Since becoming part of the R&G Fluid Power Group in March 2022, we are looking to further grow the business and reinforce our position as the leading fluid power solutions provider in the north east and beyond.

We will be looking to take an active part in the group with attendances at their monthly meetings, site visits and meeting with fellow members and look forward to becoming a valued member of the forum.’
