We delighted to have experienced our busiest month on record for emergency call-outs.

 

From our workshop in Sunderland’s riverside, we not only hold thousands of stock items but also provide installation, servicing and breakdown services to various sectors across the north east including subsea, oil and gas, renewables and automotive.

 

July proved to be our busiest month on record for emergency call-outs as our technicians and engineers responded to requests from new and existing clients.

 

Having recently installed new software on our website to enable visitors to chat with our team out of ‘normal’ working hours, this has increased the number of enquiries for our emergency services.

 

A recent request from a north east manufacturing company came as they experienced a hydraulic fault which had caused their whole production line to stop.  With the help of the experienced HOS team, our technicians were able to quickly respond, visit the site and get the production line back up and running within two hours of initial contact being made.

 

HOS managing director, Don Fenwick, commenting on the recent surge in call-outs said, ‘We often see a slight increase in emergency call-out requests during the summer shutdown periods, however, July was unprecedented for us.  If a production line is halted for whatever reason, that is costing our client potentially hundreds or thousands of pounds per day therefore it’s essential to get a response quickly and professionally.
