Introduction
Our client is a north east based manufacturer specialising in supplying to the engineering sector.
The Problem
Having an already established relationship with the business, we were approached to carry out routine maintenance on hydraulic hose assemblies on their production line.
This proactive approach would ensure there would be no interruption or breakdown of their manufacturing lines and ensure continued supply to their client.
The Solution
Our team attended the site and carried out the following checks during the maintenance program.
- Hose inspection on several hundred hose assemblies
- Detailed report produced
- Recommendations explained on hose assemblies to be replaced
- Where applicable, hose assemblies were fitted with burst sleeves
- Identification tags included on all hoses
- Comprehensive hose register created
Any hose assemblies which were to be replaced were specified, ordered and assembled at our Sunderland workshop.
Summary
Following our teams maintenance program, we successfully ensured that all hose assemblies were in excellent working order which will result in an uninterrupted ongoing production line. This in turn, will ensure our customer can provide a continued service to their client.
