HOS to attend offshore wind innovation event

HOS are delighted to be attending the upcoming Energi Coast Innovation Group event on the 31^st March.

Held at The Durham Centre the event looks to highlight opportunities for north east businesses to develop world-leading offshore wind technologies and services.

Energi Coast is a leading offshore wind cluster that has proudly been at the forefront of innovation, since the inception of the sector.  Created by NOF in 2011, Energi Coast brings together offshore wind leaders in the north east to develop the group.

Following the launch of the Innovation Group in September 2020 a number of informative and well-attended events have taken place online.

As we look to increase the supply of our products and services to the renewables sector, this is a fantastic opportunity to network with fellow businesses and exhibitors and comes hot on the heels of our attendance at the Offshore Wind NE conference and exhibition in December 2021.

The event will include an innovation showcase, panel discussions and break-out workshops which will focus on subsea engineering, manufacturing and operation maintenance & services and networking with fellow innovators.

HOS director, Don Fenwick, commented on attending the event, “The renewables sector is a huge opportunity for us and following on from the success at the Offshore Wind NE exhibition, we’re looking to build on this which is why attending this face to face event will be another great platform for us.
