Meet the Team – Joe Joyce

Our resident fitness guru and sales engineer, Joe has been with HOS since leaving sixth form in 2013 (more on the fitness later!).

 

Joe’s duties are wide-ranging within the company including testing and flushing hoses within our workshop and carrying out off-site installation and refurbishment works.  More recently, Joe has been gaining more experience within our sales department whilst also helping to train our two trainee hose technicians, Emily & Laura.

 

Since joining HOS, Joe has been eager to learn more about the hydraulic industry and has successfully taken part in many training courses including Stage 1 hydraulics, environment awareness, NVQ Level 2 in engineering operations, emergency first aid and working at heights.

 

Joe loves keeping himself fit, his main passion is attending the gym 5-6 days week, with lockdown being in place during the last year, Joe’s two dogs, Frankie & Reggie have ensured his step count is kept up with walks every day!

 

He’s a football fan and supports Newcastle United and enjoys watching their victories (you can imagine, he doesn’t get to enjoy that too much at the moment!), he combines his love of Newcastle with nights out with his friends in the city and also loves holidaying in Ibiza and Cyprus.
